Town of Easton Ward 4 Comprehensive Plan Meeting at Easton Volunteer Fire Department
The Easton Planning and Zoning Commission has initiated the process of updating the Town’s Comprehensive Plan. The Comprehensive Plan is an important document as it establishes the vision and goals, as well as the policies intended to achieve them, for the future Growth and Development of the Town. A Comprehensive Plan is primarily a Land Use Plan, but given that so many factors influence land use, such as housing, transportation, and environmental issues, the Plan actually covers a wide spectrum of topics.
The Planning Commission, working in conjunction with Town staff and elected officials, will eventually produce a document that will look forward 20-30 years (or more), and will serve as the Town’s official Plan and statement of goals and policies for the next ten years. Before beginning to put pen to paper on this Plan, the Commission is interested in gathering public input on a range of growth and development related issues.
The last election ward meeting scheduled is for the residents of Easton’s Fourth Election Ward. It will be conducted on Thursday, June 2, 2022, beginning at 6:00 pm at the Easton FIrehouse, located at 315 Leonard Rieck Drive.
Registration for the Ward Four Meeting is requested and can be found below by clicking the "Register" button. There is no cost to register, but doing so will allow Town officials to plan for the number of participants.
