Starting yearly salary for Easton Police Department certified Lateral Officers is $47,500 - $57,500 (at the discretion of the Chief of Police) with opportunity for promotion, yearly pay increases, and overtime.
Pension after 22 years of service is 50% of sworn member's salary - 55% after 25 years of service
Potential for 3 years of service credit towards retirement (at the discretion of the Chief of Police)
Optional 457 Retirement Plan (Deferred compensation) which can be used to supplement income upon retirement.
All applicants who are offered employment as an Easton Police Officer will be required to sign a four year employment contract prior to attending the Police Academy
