How to File a Complaint

This information is for making a complaint against a police department employee. This is NOT for community concerns and complaints regarding criminal activity. If you need an immediate police response call 410-822-1111, 24 hours a day, or 911 if an emergency. 

The members of the Easton Police Department are committed to achieving professionalism in every facet of our operation and maintaining only the highest level of personal integrity. You can help the department by giving us the opportunity to answer your questions and investigate your complaints.

How to file a complaint against Easton Police Personnel

  1. Complaints can be filed:

  2. You must provide your name, mailing address and phone number or email address if you would like to be notified of the progress/outcome of the investigation.

  3. You will receive a response within 72 hours of filing your complaint.

  4. You will receive an update within 30 days and each month after, if the investigation is still ongoing.

  5. You will be advised of the outcome of the investigation within 72 hours after disposition including the discipline imposed.
