Parking Lot Improvements
As part of the Easton's revitalization of our municipal parking lots, the Town has repaved, relandscaped and removed parking meters from Lot 1 (at the corner of Glenwood and Harrison) and Lot 5 (between Washington St and Harrison, where the Farmer's Market is held). After extensive research and development, the Town of Easton has installed a state-of-the-art intelligent parking solution to replace the aging mechanical meter inventory. Kiosks for parking payment, waypoint, and event information have also been installed. Cash and credit payments can be made at the kiosk.
Smart Parking App
The Easton Smart Parking App is the easiest way to pay for parking. When you first download the App it will ask for vehicle information and a valid email address. Once you respond to the email invitation, you can open the app. To complete registration, click on the three horizontal bars in the upper left (sometimes referred to as the "hamburger" or "pancake stack"). Click on "settings" and add a billing address and payment method. That's it. All done. If you want to add additional vehicles, click on "registered vehicles". Now all you have to do in the new lots is park your car and walk away.
NOTE: The Smart Parking App will charge an initial balance - like EasyPass - and will draw from it until the balance needs refreshing. IF YOU ARE JUST VISITING EASTON we recommend paying at the kiosk to pay just for the time you are here. You will need to know your license plate number to insure payment is attributed to your vehicle.
For additional information, you may download Easton's Smart Parking Brochure (PDF) (also available at the Kiosk).
